Durante degli Alighieri. The Divine Comedy. Inferno – a performance by The Drystone, the protheatrical association Maxim Didenko founded in St Petersburg in 2010, made as a joint project with DAKH Theatre in Kyiv, with artist Pavel Semchenko (AKHE) and video artist Igor Tsvetkov.
It was first shown at DAKH Theatre in Kyiv, then at Pushkinskaya 10 in St Petersburg and at Mesto – a squat and creative space in the abandoned engineering depot of the former Kalinin arms factory on Vasilyevsky Island – then in a number of the city's clubs and in the forest. The last performance took place at Open Stage, the theatre space that is now home to Grigory Kozlov's workshop.
A piece from a short, ferocious period of punk actionism in St Petersburg that lasted two years.
