To mark the 80th birthday of Vladimir Vysotsky, the Taganka Theatre staged the play “RUN, ALICE, RUN” directed by Maxim Didenko.

The show grows out of Vysotsky’s audio play “Alice in Wonderland”: it is a trip into his recording studio and a tribute to the legendary performer in an anniversary year. It is about the eternal urge to run away from problems and uncomfortable thoughts. The trouble is that the road always leads back to oneself.
